Mukteshwar Temple, which is called Shiv Temple and Mukteshwar Dham, is a major religious center located in Mukteshwar. This temple is situated at a height of 7,000 feet above sea level, on the small hill. The 350-year-old temple is dedicated to Hindu Lord Shiva and its religious significance for the Hindus is very high.
In this temple, the Shivling is made of white marble and made from the copper. Shivalinga is surrounded by many idols of Hindu Goddess Deities like Vishnu, Brahma, Ganesh, Hanuman, Nandi and Parvati. Tourists can reach this temple by steep stairs made of rocky curved stairs.
