Mall Road in Nainital is a road which runs all through the heart of the hill station along the lake which divides the place into two parts. The road was built through the colonial times when Nainital was a popular destination among British officers who came here to beat the scorching north Indian summers. The road, renamed as Govind Ballab Pant Marg, is still referred as Mall Road all over the country.
